POSTPONED: Flute-Clarinet Concert Feb. 1 at Northern Vermont University-Johnson

Visiting artists Jennifer Shanahan on flute and Manuel Ramos on clarinet will perform at 2 p.m. Feb. 1 at Dibden Center for the Arts at Northern Vermont University-Johnson. The concert and an appearance by the musicians at an NVU-Johnson music class at 11 a.m. in Dibden are free for the public.

The class will feature a performance by flute student Katy Jones. The concert will include works by NVU assistant professor of music Justin Rito, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Jennifer Higdon and others.

The Chicago-based Shanahan plays with the Lakeview Orchestra. Ramos is in the U.S. Army’s West Point Band in New York.
