Diana Gonsalves, a 2005 JSC graduate of the Studio Arts program, has a collection of photographs hanging in the gallery of Richmond Family Medicine in Richmond, Vermont. The show, a mix of digital and darkroom prints, will run through the end of July, so head over to view her beautiful work.

Emilisa Saunders, a 2003 JSC history graduate and Las Vegas Teacher, was chosen to participate in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Teacher At Sea Program. She spent 17 days at sea helping scientists survey larval fish in the Gulf of Mexico. “Through my experience with the Teacher At Sea Program, I’ll help youth and families in the Las Vegas Valley make connections between their desert community and global ocean environments,” says Saunders. “By engaging them in my hands-on experiences at sea, I hope to excite their curiosity about science and the natural world.” Join her on her incredible journey by visiting her blog.
